Full Stack Developer (Java+Angular)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Java+Angular) to design and develop scalable backend systems for a long-term fintech initiative, focusing on microservices architecture and high-performance solutions.

The customer is an organization operating in the technology and consulting domain, supporting businesses with the implementation of digital initiatives and process improvements. The company delivers a range of services related to software solutions, system enhancements, and advisory support, helping clients adapt to evolving technological landscapes through flexible engagement approaches and scalable delivery models.

The project is a long-term fintech initiative focused on building scalable backend systems. The team works with microservices architecture to design and develop high-performance solutions that support the platform’s reliability and growth.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining web applications using Java and Angular.
• Implementing microservices architecture.
• Modernizing legacy systems to improve performance and reliability.
• Handling incident management (P1/P2 troubleshooting, routing) and root cause analysis.
• Managing monitoring, including capacity planning, dashboards, and synthetic monitoring.
• Performing deployments, version documentation, and change management.
• Optimizing data and ensuring regular application health checks.
• Creating and maintaining automation scripts (cron, shell).
• Collaborating on certificate management and infrastructure tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in web application development for 3+ years.
• Strong skills in Java, Angular, SQL.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and OOP best practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and incident management.
• Experience with deployments, documentation, and automation.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Progress OpenEdge.
• Experience with Drupal.
