Summary

Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to support a payment analytics platform, ensuring reliable cloud infrastructure and scalable environments for data-driven financial services.

The customer is a technology-driven company providing a secure, compliant, and transparent payment platform designed for complex, high-value transactions. Their cloud-based solution helps streamline payment workflows, reduce risks, and ensure full control over fund management. Trusted across industries such as legal, financial, and professional services, the company is known for its innovation and has gained extensive industry recognition for its impact on improving payment processes.

The project is focused on building an analytics platform that supports structured data generation for payment operations. The team works on two interconnected systems, contributing to the development of the main Node.js/React-based platform and stabilizing an existing .NET solution.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve the overall security posture of cloud environments.
  • Implementing and maintaining security controls within cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Supporting secure configuration of cloud resources including IAM policies, networking, logging, and access controls.
  • Investigating infrastructure and security alerts and participating in incident response and remediation activities.
  • Designing and automating security-related workflows and operational processes.
  • Integrating security practices into DevOps workflows and infrastructure automation.
  • Implementing and maintaining centralized logging, monitoring, and detection capabilities.
  • Performing root cause analysis for security and operational incidents and implementing preventive improvements.
  • Contributing to the hardening of cloud infrastructure, containers, and platform services.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure secure deployment and operation of applications.
  • Documenting infrastructure, security configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Participating in continuous improvement of automation, reliability, and security practices.
  • Staying up to date with emerging cloud security practices, threats, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer for 2+ years.
  • Solid understanding of how systems work under the hood (Linux, networking, processes, containers, cloud infrastructure).
  • Proven hands-on experience working with cloud platforms (primarily AWS).
  • Experience operating and supporting production infrastructure in cloud-native environments.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Go, Bash, JavaScript or similar).
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitOps, etc.).
  • Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM, access control, and security best practices.
  • Initial hands-on exposure to information security areas such as cloud security, security monitoring, incident response, or DevSecOps.
  • Experience implementing or supporting logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
  • Understanding of secure infrastructure design, least privilege access, encryption, and audit logging.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with DevOps, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Security certifications (e.g., OSCP, cloud security certifications).
  • Experience with Azure and/or GCP.
