Junior System Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Junior System Analyst for a project supporting a mortgage lending platform, ensuring smooth transaction processing, post-loan operations, and reliable customer service across the lifecycle.

The customer is a large financial institution providing services to both individual and corporate clients. The organization is actively developing a digital ecosystem that goes beyond traditional banking, integrating multiple services into a unified platform. With a strong focus on digital channels, the customer invests in scalable systems, real-time data processing, and modern architectural approaches, while continuously improving user experience and driving innovation.

The project is focused on supporting a dedicated mortgage lending domain, including related payment processes. It covers the full lifecycle of mortgage servicing, ensuring smooth transaction processing, post-loan operations, and continuous, reliable customer service after loan issuance.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with various banking teams.
• Analyzing business processes and systems, identifying issues and proposing solutions.
• Preparing and maintaining specifications, APIs, and other technical documentation.
• Designing architecture and interaction diagrams.
• Creating architectural diagrams and describing integrations between services.
• Developing logic for new modules and enhancing existing systems.
• Applying knowledge of key architectural patterns (monolith, microservices).
• Describing business processes and interaction scenarios (BPMN, UML).
• Designing data models and database structures.

Requirements

• Experience as a System Analyst in banking or fintech projects, with understanding of banking terminology for 1+ years.
• Strong understanding of REST API architecture and OpenAPI specifications.
• Skills in describing services: endpoints, request/response schemas, error codes, data models.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization principles (OAuth2, certificates, JWT/JWS), digital signatures, and encryption.
• Understanding of banking integrations: DirectBank, payment gateways, cards, payments, foreign exchange operations.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business processes.
• Experience creating Sequence diagrams and BPMN diagrams.
• Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Skills in SQL and working with databases for data source analysis.
• Skills in testing API business logic, analyzing integration errors, and preparing client-facing documentation.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience describing integration processes with 1C: DirectBank.
