DevOps Engineer

Summary

Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a project developing and supporting a POS system for automotive financing, ensuring integrations, data exchange, and reliable system operations.

The customer is an international company providing financial and related services across multiple markets. It delivers a variety of solutions for individuals and businesses, working through partner networks, and focusing on flexible, digital, and customer-oriented offerings. The company is also exploring innovative approaches to support more accessible and sustainable usage models.

The project is focused on developing and supporting a point-of-sale system for automotive financing and leasing. It includes managing customer and vehicle data, integrating with credit decision systems, and supporting document generation, as well as building data exchange and integration solutions across multiple internal platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Managing infrastructure via Ansible (via AWX) and releasing the releases.
• Administering and monitoring Red Hat Servers, Docker containers and related infrastructure.
• Managing repository and artifacting storage via GitHub and JFrog Artifactory.
• Supporting and improving centralized logging with Loki.
• Configuring and maintaining monitoring and security integrations (e.g.,CheckMk, SonarQube, Wallix, Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault).
• Collaborating with developers and DBAs to manage PostgreSQL and DB2 (primarily PSQL installation and maintenance).
• Integrating and supporting event streaming via Confluent Kafka.
• Using Apache, NetBox, and other WebServer/Networking/inventory tools to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role for 5+ years.
• Proficient with Red Hat Linux OS administration (Or any other distributive).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWX/Ansible).
• Experience with a Docker.
• Familiarity with artifact management (e.g., Artifactory).
• Experience with logging and observability tools like Loki, Graylog, OpenTelemetry.
• Understanding infrastructure security tools: Keycloak, Wallix, HashiCorp Vault.
• Good grasp of SQL; ability to install and configure PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SonarQube, Apache, Kafka, and NetBox.
• Comfortable working with Git and source control workflows.
• Scripting experience with Bash (minimal scripting expected).
• Able to work independently in a non-cloud, on-prem environment.
• Experience integrating systems with Confluent Kafka.
• Prior exposure to Java-based microservices and Node.js.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices in regulated or secure environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code best practices (even if not currently applied).
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
