Summary

Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a project developing a widget for emergency support services, ensuring reliable infrastructure, scalability, and efficient system operations.

Our customer is a global leader in insurance and financial services, offering a wide range of solutions in health, travel, automotive, and asset management. The project is focused on developing a widget that enables quick access to emergency support services for home-related incidents. It aims to provide a seamless, user-friendly interface for requesting assistance and improving response efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.
  • Automating deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
  • Managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software.
  • Collaborating with development and QA teams to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Monitoring system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
  • Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, S3, ACM.
  • Managing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Ensuring compliance with security best practices and company policies.
  • Optimizing system performance, cost, and scalability.
  • Maintaining documentation for infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role for 2+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (especially AWS).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Understanding networking, security, and system administration.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

  • Experience in enterprise.
  • Azure or GCP.
