Business Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst to support an international insurance company. The role focuses on integrating OneShield into existing systems to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance operations.

The project is focused on integrating OneShield into the client’s ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment with existing systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional technical solutions.
• Producing key analysis artifacts: user stories, specifications, prototypes.
• Conducting solution design walkthroughs, product demos.
• Supporting testing activities: UAT, defect analysis and triage.
• Collaborating with stakeholders (business, IT, third-party vendors).
• Supporting Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
• Driving continuous improvement in delivery processes.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in insurance technology projects for 4+ years.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Experience in writing clear, testable user stories and managing the product backlog.
• Experience in testing activities, including test case design, execution, and defect analysis.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience in participating in technical design discussions.
• Experience in working with third-party system integrations.
• Technical knowledge of SQL, databases, and system design principles.
• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in API knowledge (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with OKRs.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and advanced Excel.
• Experience with BPMN tools.
• Experience with BDD / Gherkin.
• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
• Experience in the insurance domain.
• Experience working in distributed/global teams.
