Summary

Andersen is hiring a Data Engineer for a project delivering smart energy solutions, processing meter data, and building insights to improve operational efficiency and user services.

The customer is a large energy infrastructure services provider operating in a regulated market. The company focuses on deploying and managing metering and monitoring assets at scale, supporting both residential and commercial users. It delivers installation, maintenance, and data-driven energy optimization services, and is expanding into sustainability-oriented solutions aligned with broader efficiency and environmental goals.

The project is focused on delivering digital solutions for smart energy meter installation, maintenance, and management processes. It includes supporting smart meter data processing through SaaS platforms, transforming raw consumption data into actionable insights, and improving efficiency for energy operations and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Canvas Power Apps.
  • Integrating applications with SharePoint, SQL Server, Dataverse, and other data sources.
  • Building and optimizing automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Developing and configuring Copilot / chatbot solutions for HR and business processes.
  • Managing secure data connections, gateways, and system integrations.
  • Supporting migration of data sources to Dataverse when required.
  • Performing testing, bug fixing, and performance optimization of apps, flows, and chatbot solutions.
  • Supporting UAT with business stakeholders and implementing improvements based on feedback.
  • Documenting technical solutions, data flows, and dependencies.
  • Providing knowledge transfer, user guidance, and production support.
  • Contributing to scaling AI and automation use cases across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Data Engineer for 2+ years.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas Apps).
  • Experience with Power Automate.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Experience working with SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Experience with Dataverse.
  • Experience with Power Virtual Agents (part of Copilot Studio).
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Experience with Azure OpenAI Service for advanced NLP use cases.
  • Experience with Azure API Management for external system integrations (e.g., HR systems).
