Andersen is hiring a QA Engineer in Almaty to ensure software quality, testing efficiency, and reliable product delivery across international digital projects in multiple industries.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing digital banking solutions for a leading financial institution, improving online services, customer experience, and secure financial operations for business and retail clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing requirements and preparing test documentation (checklists, test cases).
• Testing server-side logic — verifying requests, responses, and data exchange between client and server.
• Performing functional testing of web and mobile applications across different devices and browsers.
• Creating clear and reproducible bug reports, tracking defects through closure.
• Writing database queries for data validation and defect investigation.

Requirements

• Experience in QA (Manual) for 2+ years.
• Experience in the fintech/banking domain.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in testing REST APIs (Postman, Swagger), Web applications (Chrome DevTools), and Mobile applications (emulators / real devices).
• Ability to write clear and reproducible bug reports.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of client-server architecture.
• Experience working with Jira / YouTrack / similar tools.
• English level – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Basic knowledge of SELECT and JOIN statements.
