Andersen is hiring a System Analyst in Kazakhstan for a project implementing retail banking solutions, enhancing digital services, and improving customer-facing platforms.

The project is focused on implementing packaged solutions for retail banking on a unified platform. It includes adapting standard retail banking functionality, enhancing digital services, and supporting the development of efficient solutions for retail customers.
Responsibilities
- Identifying product and business needs.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Analyzing product use cases and tasks.
- Performing system analysis during the development of new APIs and new services.
- Creating business process descriptions in BPMN.
- Defining and maintaining the project/task backlog.
- Participating in project communications with clients, including integration activities.
- Communicating with banking IT and business departments.
Requirements
- Experience as a System Analyst for 2+ years.
- Relevant experience in fintech / retail banking for 2+ years.
- Domain expertise in lending, scoring, cards, KYC/AML, client identification/verification.
- Understanding of microservices architecture principles and event-driven integrations.
- Experience in backend system analysis as the primary source of business logic, including APIs, contracts, and data processing rules.
- Ability to work effectively in conditions of uncertainty.
- Strong communication skills with business stakeholders and development teams.
- Ability to independently research and explore domains.
- Ability to manage multiple features in parallel.
- Skills in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working with Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies.
- Experience writing documentation (BRD, SRS, UML diagrams, BPMN).
- Understanding of integration principles: HTTP, REST, SOAP.
- Ability to work with XML, JSON, UML, BPMN, DBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL – basic skills), Postman, and Swagger.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
