Andersen is hiring a SAP AIF Consultant in Germany for a project stabilizing interfaces, ensuring reliable data integration, and supporting secure, automated platform operations.

The customer is a large international technology provider delivering end-to-end digital solutions for enterprise-level organizations. The project is focused on supporting and stabilizing SAP AIF interfaces during a critical system ramp-up phase, ensuring reliable data integration and resolving high volumes of interface issues. It also includes developing and maintaining a secure, automated Kubernetes platform with infrastructure-as-code, advanced networking, and CI/CD processes to enhance system reliability, security, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and monitoring of SAP AIF interfaces during the system ramp-up phase.
• Resolution and reduction of a high volume of technical interface issues.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of integration errors.
• Ensuring stable data exchange between systems through the AIF framework.
• Providing technical expertise to stabilize the integration landscape.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) for 4+ years, including configuration, enhancement, monitoring, and error handling setup.
• Advanced expertise in SAP interface development and integration, including IDocs, Proxy, RFC, and OData.
• Strong experience in SAP development (ABAP / ABAP Objects).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve high-volume interface errors in high-pressure environments.
• Experience with mapping, value mapping, and fix values within AIF.
• Ability to prepare technical specifications for interfaces and maintain technical documentation and error logs.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA or ECC integration landscapes.
• Basic knowledge of API management and cloud integration concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning of data exchange and interface processes.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
