Andersen is hiring an AI Solutions Architect in Mexico for a project designing AI-driven applications, intelligent automation solutions, and next-generation digital products.

The project is focused on designing AI-driven digital solutions and intelligent user experiences. It includes building AI-enabled applications, recommendation systems, intelligent automation capabilities, and next-generation solutions powered by AI and machine learning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Leading AI-solutions opportunities from the very first contact until established development project.
• Making quick opportunity qualification assessment together with the pre-sale managers, including a very high-level estimate, what can be strong in our proposition against competition and what key risks are there to mitigate.
• Building customer trust and Andersen delivery certainty with your domain expertise, creative ideas to solve client's business needs.
• Minimizing upfront customer costs and project risks by helping to focus on the most valuable requirements and using existing customer environment and relevant 3d party and community projects or SaaS.
• Specifying these into solid Solutions Architecture.
• Presenting the final result to both the client's executive and technical representatives.
• Structuring detailed estimates for the project and enabling technical experts to produce a meaningful estimate.
• Controlling and challenging their results, defining complexity drivers and optimizing our offering through reasonable and pragmatic assumptions.
• Being a key IT consultant in AI Solutions architecture for the company's clients. Being able to clearly and intelligently maintain relationships at the C level on client side, quickly understand the current situation and provide knowledgeable and confirmed experience recommendations back to the client.
• Maintaining relationships with all levels within the client's organization and eventually generating sales leads.
• Creating marketing (technical) materials to support pre-sales activities with the help of designers and copywriters.

Requirements

• Overall Solutions Architecture experience for 5+ years, including 3+ years specifically focused on Data and AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience working in large enterprise environments in the role of Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect.
• Proficiency in Python and well-versed in libraries and community-driven projects within the AI space.
• Experience in using tools like AWS Bedrock (or similar) to experiment with ideas or explain concepts to stakeholders.
• Practical experience with machine learning and AI tooling such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience building at least one RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solution with advanced chunking, retrieval, and observability.
• Theoretical knowledge about AI Agents and Agentic AI.
• Strong analytical and architecture design skills.
• Experience working across different environments, including self-managed community-based projects, vendor solutions, and public cloud managed services (at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid experience with AI/ML solution domains including predictive analytics, classification systems, recommendation engines, NLP, Generative AI, and LLMs.
• Familiarity with LLMs (Large Language Models) and VLMs (Vision-Language Models), including training, fine-tuning, and model serving via tools like Ollama, vLLM, or Hugging Face.
• Awareness and understanding of model observability, having explored tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Arize AI, Opik, Langfuse, or LangSmith.
• Conceptual understanding of machine learning theory through formal education or certified online programs.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+.

Desired skills

• Experience in complex enterprise settings for 3+ years.
• Senior-level Data & AI certifications from major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or other well-known platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience working with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Pydantic, and FastAPI/Flask.
• Practical skills and experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or other Data Science applications of ML.
• Demonstrated experience in MLOps practices and tooling.
• Proven track record managing custom model development and fine-tuning projects, with ownership of performance KPIs.
• Familiarity with ML in embedded and edge environments.
• Experience with major public PaaS and IaaS platforms, and the ability to compare and evaluate private vs public infrastructure setups.
• Work experience in AI-focused startups.
• Consulting experience and/or implementation of TOGAF, COBIT, or similar Enterprise Architecture frameworks in large-scale environments.
