Summary

Andersen is hiring an ERP Consultant in Abu Dhabi for a project supporting digital transformation, operational efficiency, and service improvement initiatives.

The customer is a public-sector organization responsible for advancing digital innovation and modernizing services across multiple domains. It supports strategic initiatives in emerging technologies, collaborates with industry and research partners, and develops long-term technology frameworks for improving operational efficiency and service accessibility. The organization focuses on secure, scalable, and sustainable digital development to drive continuous improvement within the broader ecosystem.

The project is focused on supporting digital solutions and operational initiatives for a government organization involved in public services, community development, and strategic stakeholder engagement. It aims to improve efficiency, collaboration, and service delivery across key operational areas.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated full-time onsite support for maintaining the organization’s Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.2.9 environment.
• Supporting Financial Suite modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Supporting Human Resources modules, including HR Core, Payroll, SSHR (Self Service HR), Absence Management, Oracle Performance Management, and Learning Management.
• Supporting Procurement modules, including Core Purchasing, Supplier Management, Inventory, Sourcing, and iSupplier.
• Supporting additional Oracle EBS modules, including Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Learning Management.
• Resolving incidents and ensuring timely issue management.
• Optimizing system performance and stability.
• Performing routine system health checks.
• Monitoring application and system performance.
• Managing patching activities and environment maintenance.
• Liaising with Oracle Support and managing Service Requests (SRs).
• Preparing and delivering weekly status reports.
• Maintaining comprehensive technical and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in providing support and enhancement services for Oracle ERP environments for 5+ years.
• Experience in maintaining ERP systems, providing functional and technical support, and implementing major system changes.
• Experience in API development, technical documentation creation, and conducting user training.
• Proven track record of delivering full lifecycle ERP implementations.
• Experience working across project phases, including requirements definition, solution design, testing, and go-live.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and parallel delivery tracks.
• Understanding of data migration and integration processes.
• Understanding of reporting and data reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of ERP system architecture, landscape, and data flows.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
• Experience in enterprise or public sector environments is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stream delivery environments.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with large-scale ERP transformation programs.
• Exposure to government or public sector projects.
