Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (Angular) for a project developing travel technology solutions and building scalable platforms with seamless integrations and booking workflows.
The customer is a technology-driven company in the travel sector, providing a comprehensive booking and procurement platform for industry professionals. Its solutions support large transaction volumes, integrate with a wide network of partners, and offer tools that streamline operations and enhance productivity. Focused on innovation and scalability, the customer continues to expand its ecosystem, strengthen partnerships, and improve data accuracy to deliver a modern digital infrastructure for the travel value chain.
The project is focused on developing a travel platform that integrates multiple external APIs into a unified system. It ensures reliable data synchronization and seamless booking processes to support scalable and high-performance partner connectivity.
The position assumes 12 to 21 CET work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, production-grade Single-Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular, TypeScript, and Module Federation.
- Architecting scalable front-end solutions independently, making sound technical decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term maintainability.
- Building and evolving responsive, accessible UI systems using modern CSS (SCSS, CSS variables, design tokens) and implement Material Design 3 principles.
- Collaborating closely with Product and UX teams in Figma – from design handoff and prototyping to component systematization.
- Integrating with backend services and collaborating on MongoDB document model/schema design to ensure efficient data fetching and state synchronization.
- Participating actively in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) within a cross-functional team including Product, UX, QA, and Backend engineers.
- Utilizing Git/GitHub for version control and contributing to CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, automated testing and deployment.
- Integrating AI development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) into daily workflow to accelerate debugging, code generation, and documentation.
- Troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues on a mature platform, ensuring stability, accessibility, and a seamless user experience across browsers and devices.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing single-page applications (SPAs) in production environments for 5+ years.
- Deep expertise in Angular, TypeScript, MFE architecture (with native federation).
- Proven fluency in modern CSS (SCSS, CSS variables, responsive design systems, and Material Design 3 / custom design tokens).
- Proficiency in Figma, from design handoff and prototyping to systemized component creation.
- Hands-on experience with Figma Make or similar automation tooling.
- Understanding of MongoDB document model/schema design.
- Experience using AI development tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.).
- Solid understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and performance optimization in large-scale web applications.
- Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA, and Backend).
- Comfort working in a mature, high-volume platform where changes have real downstream effects.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
