Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a project enhancing cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD processes to support scalable and secure digital banking solutions.
The customer is a leading financial institution providing a wide range of retail, corporate, and business banking services. The organization is focused on delivering secure, customer-centric financial solutions while driving digital transformation through modern banking technologies, innovative products, and omnichannel banking experiences.
The project is focused on strengthening DevOps capabilities within a digital banking environment by enhancing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform reliability. It supports the modernization of software delivery processes, improves operational efficiency, and enables the secure and scalable deployment of banking applications.
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing, and developing on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters, including Helm and on-prem deployments.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
- Managing artifacts and repositories using Nexus.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform and Ansible.
- Developing scripts and automating infrastructure and operational workflows.
- Applying DevSecOps practices to ensure secure and reliable software delivery.
- Monitoring infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and resolving incidents.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Collaborating closely with development and security teams to support platform reliability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer for 5+ years.
- Strong hands-on experience with on-premises Kubernetes and Helm.
- Solid experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments.
- Experience managing artifact repositories with Nexus.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.
- Banking or enterprise project experience would be preferred.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Azure cloud experience.
- Grafana / Check_MK monitoring.
- DevSecOps practices.
- Experience in banking / fintech domain.
- Docker advanced networking.
