Summary

Andersen is hiring an Odoo Developer for a project modernizing business systems, optimizing CRM and financial workflows, and building a unified digital platform.

The customer is a technology company delivering digital solutions that help organizations improve collaboration, communication, and operational efficiency. It provides end-to-end services covering solution design, implementation, system integration, deployment, and ongoing technical support. Working with customers across multiple industries, the company leverages modern technologies to support digital transformation, optimize business processes, and enhance overall user experience.

The project is focused on modernizing and integrating core business systems to improve operational transparency, process efficiency, and reporting capabilities. It includes optimizing CRM and financial workflows, streamlining sales and rental operations, and establishing a unified digital platform to support scalable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Configuring and customizing Odoo modules in line with the approved project scope.
• Extending Odoo models, views, workflows, reports, and business logic as required.
• Configuring business processes across CRM, Sales, Inventory, Rental, and Accounting modules.
• Supporting data migration, including template preparation, data import, and validation.
• Developing approved integrations and supporting Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
• Performing initial module setup and preparing demo-ready business flows.
• Resolving issues identified during QA, UAT, and the 30-day post-go-live warranty period.
• Providing technical input on configuration capabilities, limitations, and gap analysis.
• Collaborating with the Odoo Tech Lead and Functional Solution Owner throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience Odoo development for 4+ years.
• Strong Python experience.
• Experience with Odoo ORM, models, views, workflows, security groups, and access rights.
• Experience with XML views and reports.
• Experience with PostgreSQL basics.
• Experience with Git-based development process.
• Experience with data import / export / migration.
• Required Module Experience.
• Practical hands-on experience with several of the following: CRM, Sales, Inventory, Rental, Accounting, Contacts, Products, Invoicing, Reporting.
• Ability to work from functional requirements and solution design.
• Ability to deliver quickly within a tight implementation timeline.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Odoo deployment and Odoo.sh.
• Odoo Rental module customization.
• Booking / availability customization.
• Asset tracking or serial number management.
• Accounting-related customization.
• Fixed assets / depreciation logic.
• Integration with external accounting systems.
• WhatsApp / email / website form integrations.
• Custom dashboards or operational reports.
