Security Engineer

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Security Engineer for a project ensuring the security, stability, and production readiness of a multi-platform automotive application.

The customer is an international logistics and automotive services provider specializing in vehicle procurement, transportation, customs clearance, and shipping. It delivers end-to-end solutions for both individuals and businesses, managing the entire process through an integrated logistics network. The organization focuses on operational efficiency, transparent processes, and reliable customer service while continuously expanding its international presence.

The project is focused on the final pre-release validation of a multi-platform car auction application. It includes functional, performance, and security testing to ensure production readiness, system stability, and reliable operation of critical business processes across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Performing web, API, and mobile penetration testing.
• Identifying vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
• Testing authentication and authorization flows.
• Validating RBAC and session management.
• Performing business logic testing (payments, workflows).
• Conducting API security testing.
• Delivering vulnerability reports with remediation recommendations.
• Supporting compliance and security improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in penetration testing for 4+ years.
• Hands-on experience with Web/API vulnerability testing.
• Strong knowledge of the OWASP Top 10.
• Proficiency with Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or similar penetration testing tools.
• Experience testing authentication, authorization (RBAC), and session management mechanisms.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and reporting security vulnerabilities.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with mobile application security testing.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud security and cloud penetration testing.
• Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or equivalent.
