The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join its team for working with a company from the UK.
The customer is a UK-based next-generation integrated global payment ecosystem with the clear mission to change how money is moved around the world. The company currently supports cross-network operability globally across Mastercard, Visa, China UnionPay and local ACH and payment schemes, providing over 40 payment methods for online SMEs.
The project aims to leverage the customer’'s cutting-edge technology and expertise to provide individuals and businesses with fast, secure, and cost-effective payment services across borders.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, maintaining, and health assuring of all databases.
- Managing high-availability environments.
- Automating repetitive database management tasks to increase efficiency.
- Implementing comprehensive metrics and logging to enhance visibility and proactive management of database systems.
- Developing and testing disaster recovery plans and failover mechanisms to ensure continuous service availability.
Requirements
- Experience in relevant fields for 3+ years.
- Experience with high-availability solutions.
- Proficiency with Oracle 12c+.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL 14+.
- Proficiency with RDS in AWS.
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB.
- Advanced use of Ansible.
- Familiarity with Patroni.
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
