Data Scientist/ML Engineer

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Data Scientist/ML Engineer to work on a large-scale Media&Telecom project.

The customer is a forward-thinking company with a diverse portfolio of products and services. The project is the development of a live streaming app that allows users to get acquainted and exchange messages and subscriptions.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and stakeholders to brainstorm and implement innovative solutions.
• Developing and maintaining production-level code, transforming machine learning models, PoCs into reliable, scalable pipelines.
• Partnering with other Machine Learning Engineers to create, evaluate, and iterate on models.
• Optimizing solution performance and code efficiency to handle large-scale data and applications.
• Participating in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the overall code quality and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying ML solutions in a real-world environment (industry/commercial development experience) for 6+ years.
• Domain expertise (LLM e.g. model design, pipeline development, transformers; NLP - text generation, classification, Computer Vision).
• Strong understanding of machine learning theory: classical/shallow and deep learning algorithms (supervised, unsupervised), reinforcement learning.
• Expertise in deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
• Strong coding skills in Python.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
