The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Android Developer to join its team for working with a company from Saudi Arabia.

The customer is a dynamic company that redefines the concept of smart transportation solutions. With operations in 33 cities and a fleet comprising over 3500 passenger vehicles and 1200 commercial vehicles, the customer is committed to innovation and quality. The company offers a hybrid business model that blends traditional service with advanced technology, providing services such as car rental, carsharing, group transportation, operating lease, etc.

The project is the development of native mobile applications with a new design while integrating with the existing backend.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Participating in architectural decisions and ensuring scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Optimizing app performance, responsiveness, and security.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring mid-level and junior developers.
• Collaborating with iOS developers to ensure feature parity and alignment.
• Working closely with backend engineers to optimize API integrations.
• Engaging in requirement clarification and providing technical advisory.
• Contributing to defining best practices, coding standards, and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in Android development (Kotlin, Java) for 5+ years.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack, and modern architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and profiling Android apps.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and libraries.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications in Google Play Store.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
