The IT company Andersen invites an Integration Engineer in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from UAE.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Technology stack: Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Apache Camel, REST/gRPC APIs, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, Kong, WSO2, Apigee, Istio, Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL,Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4 (BPEL, OSB, Mediators, Adapters).
  • Ensuring high availability, error handling, and performance tuning of SOA services.
  • Working with Oracle EBS R12.2 functional and technical teams to support business processes.
  • Handling WebLogic Server Administration, performance optimization, and deployments.
  • Analyzing SOA logs, debugging errors, and ensuring message delivery integrity.
  • Maintaining and enhancing integrations with third-party systems via REST/SOAP services.
  • Assessing current Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4 workflows (BPEL, Mediators, OSB) and define a migration strategy.
  • Designing and implementing Microservices-based integrations using Apache Camel, Spring Boot, and Quarkus.
  • Developing and exposing RESTful APIs & gRPC services to replace SOAP-based SOA integrations.
  • Implementing event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
  • Deploying microservices-based integrations using Docker/Kubernetes for scalability.
  • Ensuring backward compatibility and smooth transition from Oracle SOA to modern services.
  • Implementing ETL/Batch integrations using Talend, Apache NiFi, or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Converting SOA-based database integrations to event-driven architecture.
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines for integration services using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Automating integration testing using Postman, JMeter, or Karate.
  • Deploying monitoring tools like Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Grafana.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4 (BPEL, OSB, Mediators, Adapters) for 7+ years.
  • Experience with Microservices, Apache Camel, and Spring Boot for 3+ years.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 integrations (PL/SQL APIs, Oracle Adapter usage).
  • Strong expertise in WebLogic Server Administration for SOA deployments.
  • Experience working with API Gateways (Kong, WSO2, Apigee, or Tyk).
  • Hands-on experience with event-driven integration using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm for containerized deployments.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Oracle SOA Suite Certified Specialist.
  • Oracle WebLogic Server Administrator Certification.
  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate (for cloud-based integrations).
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
