Frontend Developer (React)

Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer (React) to work on a project in the field of Fintech.

The customer is an Irish-based company that provides online commerce businesses with financing to grow their businesses. The company currently operates in 11 markets worldwide and is backed by a number of leading FinTech investors, including DST Global, QED Investors and Left Lane.

The project aims to develop SME lending through a partner ecosystem.

Technology stack: React, Typescript, Storybook, Styled Components, Playwright, React Testing Library, Chromatic.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining user interfaces using React and TypeScript within a microservice architecture, integrated with backend APIs.
• Creating embedded applications and interfaces (embedded UIs) through iframes, ensuring a seamless experience for users interacting with various ecosystems.
• Designing and implementing interface components using Storybook to create visually consistent UI components.
• Using Styled Components to write styled components adhering to principles of modularity and reusability.
• Writing and maintaining tests using React Testing Library and Playwright to ensure code quality and improve interface usability.
• Integrating and supporting the existing component library developed by another team, focusing on compatibility and enhancing the interface considering user scenarios.
• Setting up and supporting visual testing using Chromatic to ensure the stability of visual components across different screens and devices.
• Optimizing the performance of the frontend part of the application, considering distributed systems, scalability, and high load.
• Collaborating with backend developers and architects to integrate functionality through RESTful APIs, manage application state and data.
• Supporting and developing best practices for code organization, application architecture, and team interaction, including Code Reviews, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD).
• Mentoring and assisting junior team members in React, TypeScript, and embedded solutions development.

Requirements

• Experience as a Frontend Developer (React) for 3,5+ years.
• Experience in building embedded applications/embedded UIs through Iframe UIs at a lead level.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with Storybook.
• Familiarity with Styled Components.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Proficient in React Testing Library.
• Experience with Chromatic.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in Backend technological stack (Python, Django using Postgres, Pandas, Github Actions CI/CD, AWS infrastructure).
