Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Full Stack Developer (Node.js/Angular) located in the EU to work on a large-scale project for one of our Austrian customers.

The customer is one of the largest system specialists for the planning, setup, and operation of command-and-control centers, emergency call centers, and security technology in the fields of public safety, industry, and transport. The company offers a comprehensive product portfolio and holistic solutions, ensuring safety through advanced technology.

The project is the development of a resource allocation system for emergency response services, integrated within a larger information platform.

Technology stack: Angular, Node.js, Typescript, SQL, MariaDB, HTML, CSS, GitLab.

The ratio of front-end to back-end is 50/50.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participating in the development of modern, web-based operation center software.
  • Designing and developing innovative product ideas.
  • Developing quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles.
  • Ensuring high performance of applications.
  • Proactively contributing to team meetings (Story refinement, Planning, Retros, etc.).

Requirements

  • Experience as a Full Stack Developer for 5+ years.
  • Experience with SQL databases, particularly MariaDB.
  • Experience in designing microservices and web applications.
  • Strong skills in Angular and Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with Typescript.
  • Experience with testing on a unit level.
  • Experience with web standards in HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with GitLab for code reviews and version control.
  • Experience in building complex distributed systems.
  • Experience working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in collaborating with UX experts to deliver high-quality UI/UX solutions.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA.
  • Knowledge of distributed application monitoring tools.
  • Experience in frontend integration testing.
  • Familiarity with containerization and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
