Frontend Developer (Angular)

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Frontend Developer (Angular) to work on a large-scale project for one of our German customers.

The customer is Germany’s national public television broadcaster. It is one of the largest and most renowned TV broadcasters in Europe. The company offers full-range generalist programming with a mix of information, education, arts, entertainment and sports. Its coverage provides both a broad view on the world and a comprehensive picture of Germany.

The project is maintenance and development of new features for an app for iOS and Android mobile devices using Ionic framework. The app itself is a scheduling and booking system for internal use in the customer's company.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the project team to design and implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using Angular and Ionic frameworks.
• Ensuring the web application is optimized for performance and functionality across both Android and iOS platforms.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and actively participating in code reviews to uphold development standards and best practices.
• Working closely with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, providing an engaging experience for end-users.
• Conducting thorough testing of the application, identifying and addressing any bugs or issues, and ensuring a smooth and error-free user experience.
• Collaborating with back-end developers, designers, and other team members to integrate front-end components seamlessly with the overall architecture.

Requirements

• Experience as a Front-end Developer (Angular) for 3+ years.
• Strong experience in developing web applications using Angular framework.
• Solid experience with NgRx for state management in Angular applications.
• Proven experience working with WebSockets for real-time communication.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and the ability to create interfaces that adapt to various screen sizes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of autonomy and self-direction in managing tasks and responsibilities.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Proven experience in developing and optimizing web applications for iOS platforms using IONIC Framework.
• In-depth knowledge of Ionic framework for building cross-platform mobile applications.
• Willingness to address and resolve tickets related to Java Spring Boot applications.
