Go Developer

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Go Developer to work on a large-scale project for one of our customers from the UK.

The customer is a software consultancy specializing in designing, building, and supporting complex online IT solutions. They have pioneered the development of online doctor services in the UK and Ireland, providing a platform that has treated over 2 million patients.

The project is the development of software solutions for healthcare companies.

Responsibilities

• Developing new application features and backend RestFul web services.
• Collaborating closely with the QA Manager and application testers.
• Participating in architectural discussions and contributing to technical decision-making.
• Analyzing complex technical problems and providing effective solutions.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Requirements

• Experience as a Go Developer for 2+ years.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apache or Nginx.
• Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
• Proven experience in Agile software development environments.
• Solid knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture, and design patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, GCP, or Microsoft Azure) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Experience in the Healthcare industry.
