Summary

Andersen is looking for a QA Analyst to join a large Travel & Hospitality project. The role involves testing and supporting SaaS platforms that simplify travel booking and management for businesses and their clients.

The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company's network consists of over 47 companies, with annual transactions exceeding $1 billion and a team of 2,000 travel experts.

The project focuses on SaaS platforms that consolidate services like flights, hotels, cruises, DMCs, and tours for seamless booking and management across the B2B2C model. It provides a unified booking platform, real-time revenue management, hassle-free flight booking support, 24/7 client and advisor assistance, invoice tracking, and self-help tools, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient travel management experience from agency to end customer.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing manual test cases for APIs and UI functionality.
  • Validating RESTful services, responses, and integrations.
  • Creating and managing test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs in collaboration with developers.
  • Participating in requirement reviews and providing feedback on testability.
  • Supporting regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Collaborating with the team to continuously improve QA processes.
  • Learning and potentially grow into UI test automation using Selenium with Java.

Requirements

  • Experience in software testing with a focus on API testing for 4+ years.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, request/response formats (JSON/XML), and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with test case management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Basic understanding of software development and QA best practices.
  • Willingness to learn test automation using Selenium and Java.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate.

Desired skills

  • Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test pipelines.
  • Exposure to tools like RestAssured, JUnit, or TestNG.
