Product Owner

Summary

Andersen is seeking an experienced Product Owner for a project with an iGaming provider. The role involves developing a B2B platform used across multiple regulated markets.

The customer is a leading B2B provider of iGaming platforms and turnkey solutions, operating under 16 licenses across 12 regulated markets including Sweden, Denmark, Greece, and Ontario. With over 1,000 employees, they offer casino, sportsbook, affiliate, and payment solutions powered by proprietary gamification technology. Recognized with multiple industry awards for innovation, retention, and leadership, the customer is known for rapid market entry, cloud-native infrastructure, and a strong commitment to responsible gaming and sustainability.

The project is building a high-performance B2B platform for casino and sportsbook operations, with a strong focus on infrastructure improvements, architectural scalability, and internal service development to ensure long-term stability.

Responsibilities

• Formulating the list of backlog items and prioritizing them as per critical business objectives.
• Defining the suggested sprint objective which will serve as a base to determine the sprint goal.
• ️ Reviewing and approving the work done by the development team.
• ️ Providing effective communication to the stakeholders of the project.
• Prioritizing, enhancing, and finalizing the items with the team before sprint planning.
• Creating and maintaining change requests associated with the product.
• Defining acceptance criteria for their product.
• Gathering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintaining and verifying requirements.
• ️ Creating and maintaining epics, stories, use and edge cases.
• ️ Working closely with stakeholders and participating in quarterly OKR planning for the product, including estimating their achievement.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role (Business Analyst, System Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst) for 3+ years.
• Understanding of requirements lifecycle and product backlog management.
• Knowledge of product development architecture and API integrations.
• Experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to demonstrate effective leadership techniques.
• Experience resolving conflicts and driving product development forward.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Coding or design experience.
• PSPO I certification or equivalent.
