Andersen is looking for an Oracle EBS Engineer in Abu Dhabi for a digital transformation project with a UAE government entity. The role focuses on supporting digital solutions to enhance public services and streamline operations.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.
Technology stack: Oracle E-Business Suite, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, Workflow Builder, Oracle Alerts, Oracle APIs, Open Interfaces, WebADI, Unix/Linux, CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support for implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Oracle EBS applications.
- Customizing and extending EBS using Forms, Reports, Workflows, and OAF as per business requirements.
- Developing and maintaining PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support custom solutions.
- Building and maintaining data interfaces between Oracle EBS and third-party systems using APIs and Open Interfaces.
- Supporting the development and deployment of RICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
- Collaborating with functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Participating in system patching, cloning, backup, and recovery processes.
- Assisting in performance tuning, issue resolution, and end-user support.
- Documenting technical designs, code standards, and configuration changes.
- Conducting unit testing, debugging, and support of QA/UAT cycles.
- Staying updated with Oracle support notes (MOS), patches, and best practices for EBS.
- Supporting regulatory and compliance audits by ensuring documentation and access controls.
Requirements
- Experience with Oracle development for 4+ years.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.1/12.2, especially in Finance, SCM, or HRMS modules.
- Proficient in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, Workflow Builder, and Oracle Alerts.
- Experience with Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) and personalization/customization techniques.
- Solid understanding of EBS architecture, concurrent processing, and system administration.
- Experience with data conversions, interfaces, and custom extensions (RICE components).
- Familiarity with Oracle APIs, Open Interfaces, and WebADI.
- Knowledge of EBS security model, responsibilities, roles, and user management.
- Experience with patching, cloning, and adop/adpatch utilities.
- Familiarity with EBS system performance tuning and diagnostics.
- Understanding of Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and Oracle file structures.
- Proficiency with Oracle Workflow, AME, and approvals management.
- Experience with version control tools and basic CI/CD processes (Git, Jenkins – optional).
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
