Summary

Andersen is looking for an iOS Developer for a project with an international banking group. The role focuses on enhancing mobile banking features and improving the retail user experience.

The customer is a leading international banking group, operating for over four decades across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The organization provides a wide range of services, including corporate banking, trade finance, treasury solutions, Islamic banking, and retail banking, with physical branches in five countries and a fast-growing fully digital mobile bank. It is recognized for its commitment to digital transformation through dedicated innovation units and digital platforms, including a fully digital retail bank.

The project is focused on enhancing digital banking channels and expanding online banking services. A key area of development is the retail segment, where the team will work on improving and delivering new digital solutions to enhance the customer experience and broaden the bank’s retail offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Developing iOS applications in accordance with bank development standards and guidelines.
  • Conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) for upcoming projects and new features.
  • Performing peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions on time.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in native iOS app development for 2+ years.
  • Proficiency in Swift and working knowledge of SwiftUI.
  • Experience with Objective-C.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools for automating build and deployment processes.
  • Experience using Jira and maintaining documentation in Confluence.
  • Skilled in integrating third-party libraries into iOS applications.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and data exchange using JSON.
  • Solid understanding of Git, including branching strategies and feature branches.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and participating in sprints.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good presentation and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
