Project/Delivery Manager (in the EU)

Andersen is hiring a Project/Delivery Manager in the EU for a UK-based client specializing in advisory and risk solutions. The role involves managing a SaaS platform for insurance and analytics, focusing on team coordination and delivery process improvement.

The customer is a company that offers data-driven solutions for people, risk and capital management. Leveraging the global vision and local expertise of colleagues across 140 countries and markets, it helps to sharpen the strategy, improve organizational resilience, motivate people and maximize performance.

The project is centered around a business-critical SaaS solution used by clients for real-time insurance calculations, modeling, and actuarial analytics. It involves maintaining and enhancing the platform to ensure reliability and performance. The focus is on coordinating a technical team, improving delivery processes, and supporting ongoing development without deep technical involvement.

Responsibilities

• Driving communication with stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
• Ensuring timely delivery of tasks and adherence to project timelines (with focus on long-term planning).
• Tracking progress using tools like Gantt charts and ensuring cross-team alignment.
• Supporting process improvements within the team.
• Collaborating with the DevOps Lead to maintain and groom the platform backlog.
• Prioritizing tasks and participating in sprint planning.
• Aligning backlog with business goals and platform technical evolution.
• Contributing to defining the strategic vision for platform growth.
• Understanding core DevOps concepts: CI/CD, Azure deployment, Terraform, Docker, etc.
• Acting as a knowledgeable partner to engineers, without being hands-on technical.
• Bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders in platform-related topics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager in technical or infrastructure-related projects for 5+ years.
• Solid understanding of DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines, Azure, Terraform, and Docker.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience managing mixed workload: from regulatory/governance requests to incident handling.
• Strategic thinking and ability to drive long-term platform development initiatives.
• Familiarity with Scrum or other Agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Previous experience working closely with DevOps/SRE teams.
