iOS Developer (in the EU)

Summary

Andersen is looking for an iOS Developer in the EU to help a German leader in premium appliances create an AI-powered nutrition app based on a prototype, focusing on scalability, quality, and future integration.

The customer is a German-based leader in direct sales, operating in over 60 countries and specializing in premium household appliances. Its portfolio includes innovative multifunctional kitchen devices and advanced cleaning systems, distributed through a global network of independent consultants. With a strong focus on technology and award-winning design, the company serves millions of customers worldwide and is recognized for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experience.

The project is focused on creating a standalone Android app with AI-powered features to support healthier nutrition. Based on an existing iOS prototype, it will include one new feature and one adapted from iOS, with a focus on scalability, quality, testing, and future integration into the main app.

Responsibilities

• Developing and integrating Android and iOS components into the existing app.
• Collaborating with internal customer teams and, if necessary, Android developers.
• Participating in agile meetings and coordination.
• Supporting for cross-platform approaches using Kotlin Multiplatform (optional).

Requirements

• Proven experience in native iOS development using Swift and Core Data for 3+ years.
• Experience with The Composable Architecture (TCA).
• Experience with the Swift-sharing framework (PointFree).
• Proficiency with both UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Experience integrating features into existing, large-scale applications.
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• MQTT experience.
• Experience working with enterprise or corporate clients.
