Andersen is hiring a QA Manager for a U.S. project with a global travel payment provider, ensuring quality and reliability of a secure platform while supporting innovation and efficiency in expense management.
The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s leading airlines. Its network includes major carriers that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of travel-related merchants worldwide, covering air, rail, cruise, and agency payments. The platform also enables airlines to accept multiple payment methods, including alternatives, via integrated processing partners within the customer’s network.
The project is centered on a proprietary payment platform that ensures secure transactions, centralized billing, detailed reporting, and advanced analytics. It focuses on reducing processing costs, streamlining expense management, and continuously evolving through new payment methods and AI-driven enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Owning and driving the overall QA strategy across 4 product teams.
- Leading and mentoring 4 QA Leads, providing guidance, performance feedback, and career development.
- Ensuring consistency and alignment of QA practices, standards, and metrics across teams.
- Defining and monitoring key quality KPIs (defect leakage, automation coverage, release readiness, etc.) at organizational level.
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Delivery leadership to shape release strategy, risk management, and quality roadmap.
- Reviewing and challenging test approaches proposed by QA Leads to ensure efficiency, scalability, and business impact.
- Coordinating cross-team testing activities (system integrations, end-to-end flows, UAT support).
- Overseeing and optimizing test environments and data management across teams.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes, automation adoption, and tooling.
- Promoting knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration within QA community of practice.
- Reporting consolidated QA status and risks to senior stakeholders and proactively manage escalations.
- Advocating for quality culture across engineering, ensuring testability and early defect prevention.
Requirements
- Experience in QA for 7+ years, with strong background in manual and automated testing.
- Experience as a QA Manager or in a similar role for 1+ year.
- Proven experience in leading multi-team QA organizations (managing Leads or Senior QAs).
- Strong leadership and people management skills (goal setting, mentoring, conflict resolution).
- Ability to define and track quality metrics across multiple teams and projects.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile at scale.
- Solid knowledge of API, web, and data validation testing; advanced SQL.
- Experience with QA tools such as TestRail, Jira, QMetry, Postman, Swagger.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with focus on delivery quality and business outcomes.
- Level of English – from Advanced.
