System/Business Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a System/Business Analyst for a fintech project in Uzbekistan. The role involves enhancing a digital wallet platform to support payments, transfers, and new services.

The customer is a leading fintech company in Uzbekistan, offering digital payment solutions such as P2P transfers, QR-based transactions, and utility payments. It serves millions of users and continues to expand through innovative subscription and lending services. The company has been recognized internationally with multiple awards for excellence in digital finance and is regarded as a pioneer in introducing technologies like open API integrations and QR-payments in the local market.

The project is an e-wallet, which is a modern payment tool that allows one to conveniently and safely use the capabilities of the service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with business to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear and actionable specifications.
• Creating comprehensive and detailed documentation such as functional specifications, user stories, use cases, screen flow diagrams and business process models to communicate requirements effectively to the development team and other stakeholders.
• Collaborating with architects, technical lead, Developers and UX/UI teams to design scalable software solutions that address business needs.
• Assisting in the creation and review of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that the developed software meets the specified requirements.
• Collaborating with testers and developers to resolve issues and ensure quality.
• Assessing the impact of proposed changes or enhancements to existing systems, processes, or requirements.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and automation within the software development lifecycle.
• Developing a deep understanding of the Fintech/Payments/Banking domain and country specific changes to effectively analyze and communicate requirements in the context of business goals and strategies.

Requirements

• Experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT projects for 2+ years.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation (functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases).
• Proficiency in preparing system specifications, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, and maintaining up-to-date documentation in Jira/Confluence (or similar tools).
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with complex distributed systems (preferably in microservices, event-driven, or data-heavy environments).
• Ability to analyze and model business processes, identify system dependencies, and translate them into clear technical requirements.
• Familiarity with API specifications (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), integration flows, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
• Understanding of data modeling and working with SQL/NoSQL databases on a conceptual level (entity-relationship diagrams, key data consistency principles).
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
