Andersen, an international IT сompany, invites a Junior Backend Developer (Node.js) to work on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices in Node.js under the guidance of more experienced developers.
  • Implementing basic integrations with external services such as Adyen (payments), Gigya (authentication), or uTrack (vehicle tracking).
  • Writing unit tests and contribute to automated testing processes.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies.
  • Supporting technical documentation and contribute to code reviews by learning from feedback.
  • Working closely with Tech Lead and Architect, and other developers to ensure reliable feature delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience as a with Node.js (Express.js or NestJS as a plus) for 6+ months.
  • Understanding of REST API design principles and fundamentals of microservices.
  • Familiarity with databases, ideally both SQL (SQL Server) and NoSQL systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and knowledge of basic CI/CD concepts.
  • Awareness of Docker and containerization; some exposure to AWS is a plus (Lambda, ECS).
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and follow coding best practices.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
