Summary

Andersen is hiring a System/Business Analyst in Almaty for a major microfinance project. The role focuses on building an integration layer between OpenWay and Colvir systems.

The customer is the largest microfinance organization in Kazakhstan, operating on a classic microfinance model adapted to the local economy. It focuses on financing micro and small businesses, especially in rural areas, and builds long-term client relationships based on trust and mutual respect. The company offers individual and group microloans for business, farming, consumer needs, and goods production, employing around 2,000 people.

The project is focused on developing an integration layer between the OpenWay and Colvir systems. The primary goal is to ensure seamless data exchange and process synchronization between the two platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting and analysing requirements from business and IT stakeholders regarding the integration of OpenWay and Colvir.
  • Formalizing and documenting integration layer requirements (in the form of specifications, data models, and interaction diagrams).
  • Designing business processes in BPMN and participating in process modelling using Camunda.
  • Defining and agreeing on interaction interfaces between systems, including data formats, protocols, and methods.
  • Supporting development and QA teams, participating in requirements clarification and verification of implemented functions.
  • Participating in meetings with the customer, presenting solutions, and defending proposed requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience as a System/Business Analyst for 4+ years.
  • Experience working with the OpenWay (Way4) system.
  • Knowledge of integration processes for banking/financial systems, including APIs, queues, and exchange formats (SOAP/REST, XML, etc.).
  • Experience describing requirements for integration solutions, including interface specifications and data models.
  • Understanding of the transaction lifecycle for payment cards and knowledge of banking card products.
  • Experience modelling business processes in BPMN; knowledge and experience with Camunda is a plus.
  • Proficiency with analyst tools such as Confluence, Jira, BPMN editors (Camunda Modeler, Bizagi, Draw.io), as well as knowledge of UML.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate.
