Andersen is hiring a Junior QA Automation Engineer (Java) to support automated testing of a scalable API toolkit, ensuring stable integrations, reliable functionality, and high product quality.

The project is focused on developing a scalable API toolkit for the European and Australian markets, enabling seamless integration for services such as roadside assistance, bike insurance, travel, and health.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing requirements, planning test activities, and creating relevant test cases.
- Performing manual functional, non-functional, regression, and cross-platform testing.
- Developing, maintaining, and improving automated tests for API.
- Monitoring daily test execution results, updating existing autotests, and maintaining test backlog.
- Collaborating with developers to reproduce and resolve defects, reporting issues clearly and validating fixes.
- Preparing test documentation and providing regular test status and summary reports.
Requirements
- Experience in QA Automation for 6+ months.
- Good understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and testing lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Java (Java 17-21 is preferred) and basic OOP principles.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG.
- Experience working with APIs (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar tools.
- Basic experience connecting to databases (JDBC) and writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience working with issue-tracking and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong communication skills, proactivity, and transparency in work.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Understanding of message queues (Kafka) and ability to work with logs.
