Lead System Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Lead System Analyst for a major Kazakh bank. The project focuses on developing digital lending products and automating the full loan lifecycle via mobile and web apps.

The customer has been operating in Kazakhstan's financial market since 1992 and is represented by more than 130 branches across Kazakhstan. It offers its clients – both individuals and legal entities – a full range of banking services, including the opening and servicing of current accounts, payment cards, lending, deposits, and money transfers.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing digital lending products for individuals, aiming to make the process of obtaining and managing loans as fast and convenient as possible through mobile and web applications, while fully automating all stages of the lending lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with various bank teams.
• Analyzing business processes and systems, identifying issues, and proposing solutions.
• Preparing and updating specifications, APIs, and other technical documentation.
• Designing system architecture and interaction schemes.
• Creating architectural diagrams and documenting integrations between services.
• Developing logic for new modules and improving existing systems.
• Applying knowledge of key architectural patterns (monolith, microservices).
• Describing business processes and interaction scenarios (BPMN, UML).
• Designing data models and database structures.

Requirements

• Experience as a System Analyst for 3+ years.
• Experience working with banking systems (Colvir, Way4).
• Understanding of banking business processes, including personal lending domain.
• Knowledge of financial integrations and their specifics.
• Practical experience designing integration solutions (SOAP, REST).
• Ensuring integration between systems and platforms.
• Participating in testing of developed functionality.
• Diagnosing issues and analyzing bugs in collaboration with developers and QA engineers.
• Experience testing APIs using Swagger or Postman.
• Strong experience working with relational databases (SQL).
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency in using Draw.io and Visio for creating diagrams.
• Knowledge of UML and BPMN methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum.
• Understanding of DoD (Definition of Done) and DoR (Definition of Ready).
• Familiarity with Waterfall methodology.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
