Andersen is hiring a QA Engineer for a major European pet retailer. The project focuses on improving in-store management software to boost efficiency and ensure seamless retail operations.
The customer is a leading European pet supplies retailer headquartered in Germany, operating thousands of stores across multiple countries. Founded in 1990, the company combines physical retail with digital services, offering food, accessories, and care solutions for pets. It has achieved strong growth through innovation, franchising, and a customer-focused omnichannel strategy.
The project is focused on enhancing software for offline retail operations, including point-of-sale systems and in-store management tools, to improve efficiency and ensure seamless transactions across the company’s retail network.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Setting up and maintaining the test infrastructure.
- Evaluating automatic tests and reporting findings.
- Working across departments on integration and E2E tests.
- Ensuring reliability through load and performance tests.
- Developing the customer’s infrastructure further with new ideas and technologies.
Requirements
- Experience in software testing, ideally in eCommerce, for 3+ years.
- Experience in applying agile methods in an agile team.
- Strong method knowledge in test automation.
- Experience with common tests and collaborative working tools of agile software development.
- A high degree of initiative and a sense of responsibility.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- ISTQB certifications.
- Experience in mobile testing.
