System Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a System Analyst for a major financial institution. The role involves enhancing core banking systems, improving internal platforms, and supporting the development of scalable and secure digital services.

The customer is a leading player in the financial services sector with a strong market presence and consistently stable performance. The organization provides a full range of banking products for individual and corporate clients, as well as support for small and medium-sized businesses. The project is focused on maintaining and enhancing the bank’s core infrastructure to ensure stability, scalability, and security across essential systems. The team works on improving internal platforms, integrating new technologies, and optimizing delivery processes to support the efficient and reliable development of digital banking products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with an Agile team to analyze business tasks, processes, and models.
• Designing solutions for business tasks using existing systems or, when necessary, by developing new systems.
• Analyzing and designing system integrations.
• Developing system architecture or optimizing existing ones with a focus on high performance, resilience, and flexibility to changes.
• Optimizing integration processes, ensuring high performance, resilience, and adaptability.
• Preparing system architecture documentation.
• Reviewing and aligning system architecture with the bank’s IT architects.
• Working on system development and enhancement with local and international vendors.
• Participating in setting up Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes.
• Taking part in version control and system release management.

Requirements

• Experience as a System Analyst, a Developer, a DevOps Engineer, or an Architect for 3+ years (technical background as a Developer, DevOps, Architect is a must!).
• Experience preparing system architecture documentation using UML and ERD diagrams.
• Knowledge of system architecture principles such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices, Event Sourcing, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and others.
• Experience working with databases and web services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ready to challenges and innovation.
• Can work effectively within self-organized teams.
• Experience in banking/fintech.
• Experience designing and optimizing system integrations, system architecture.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience setting up CI/CD on the project.
• Experience with version control and system release management.
