Business/System Analyst (Krakow, Poland)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Business/System Analyst in Krakow for a large FinTech project. The role involves developing and customizing banking solution modules for financial operations and reporting.

The project is focused on developing new banking solution modules, including financial operations and reporting features, and implementing and customizing them for external clients.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining continuous communication flow between business stakeholders (Product Owner, business representatives, compliance teams) and the development team.
• Conducting clarification sessions, elicitation interviews, and requirement refinement workshops to ensure precise understanding of business needs.
• Analyzing existing system behavior, processes, and integrations within the digital banking platform; creating clear documentation and specifications based on your findings.
• Preparing Structured User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, BPMN process diagrams, API specifications, data mapping documentation, UI/UX interaction logic, and edge-case scenarios.
• Supporting backlog grooming: prioritize tasks, validate scope, and ensure that the development backlog is always groomed and aligned with business priorities.
• Working closely with architects, tech leads, and backend engineers to translate business logic into technical flows, ensuring feasibility and consistency with system design principles.
• Helping QA engineers with test scenario preparation by clearly defining expected outcomes and business rules.
• Monitoring task progress, follow up on blockers, and ensure alignment between business expectations and delivery output.
• Facilitating Sprint Reviews, UAT sessions, and release planning activities.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business/System Analyst in software development for 3+ years.
• Experience in requirement elicitation, functional decomposition, and backlog management.
• Experience creating documentation: user stories, acceptance criteria, BPMN, system flows, data mapping.
• Experience working closely with developers, architects, and QA engineers.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of system integrations and APIs.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
