Summary

Andersen is hiring a Sharepoint Developer to build and maintain an engineering document library, organize file structures and metadata, and support documentation tracking for an investment holding company.

The customer is an investment holding company operating, focused on building a diversified portfolio across infrastructure, real estate, funds, and equity investments. The organization emphasizes long-term value creation, responsible investment practices, and collaboration with regional and international partners.

The project is focused on creating an asset-centric engineering document library on SharePoint/EDMS, ensuring proper file structure, naming, and metadata. It also includes maintaining accurate Excel-based trackers to keep documentation consistent and audit-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining asset-centric folder structures and document indexes.
  • Applying file-naming conventions and completing metadata fields consistently.
  • Cleaning, validating, and reconciling datasets in Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, XLOOKUP).
  • Cross-checking drawings/specs/reports to confirm document type, revision, date, and applicability.
  • Running QC spot-checks, fixing issues, and tracking progress in dashboards/logs.
  • Identifying missing/duplicate/obsolete documents and maintaining a gap log.
  • Preparing periodic progress reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Handling sensitive data with strict confidentiality and following internal SOPs.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Sharepoint Developer for 2+ years.
  • Experience in engineering document control, or data QA/QC for 2+ years.
  • Advanced Excel: data cleaning, Power Query, PivotTables, data validation, conditional formatting, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; comfortable working through large volumes of files.
  • Familiarity with engineering documentation (drawings, O&M manuals, test reports, method statements, etc.).
  • Experience with CDE/EDMS or DMS tools (e.g., SharePoint or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and clear record-keeping.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Industrial Engineering (or similar) OR strong engineering document control experience.
  • Scripting/automation for bulk ops (VBA or Python) knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Power BI (basic) for simple status views.
