Andersen is hiring a Java Developer to enhance a large cloud-based HCM platform, improving interconnected HR applications and helping deliver a more efficient digital HR experience.
The customer is a software provider specializing in HR and payroll solutions, delivering modular systems for personnel management and administrative processes. The project is focused on enhancing a large-scale cloud-based HCM platform used by thousands of public and social sector organizations. The work involves improving interconnected HR applications to streamline processes and deliver a more modern, efficient digital HR experience.
Responsibilities
- Developing components for the Software-as-a-Service platform.
- Working on thematic web applications for human resources management.
- Designing suitable tests and analyzing the results.
- Planning and describing the backlog together with the Product Owners.
Requirements
- Experience with Java for 3+ years.
- Academic degree or equivalent qualification as a Computer Scientist or Engineer (f/m/d).
- Experience in development with Java, Jakarta Enterprise, and Cloud Native development.
- Initial knowledge of JPA Hibernate, CDI, RESTful Services, and API design.
- Experience working with relational databases, ideally ORACLE DBMS.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
- Enthusiasm for new technological developments and motivation to contribute to future growth.
- Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
