Andersen is hiring a Data Analyst to support a global mobility platform by unifying and migrating data across systems, ensuring consistent, high-quality records and reducing manual reconciliation.
The customer is an international mobility service provider offering a peer-to-peer model that allows users to negotiate travel conditions directly within the app. With a large global user base and operations spanning numerous cities worldwide, the organization is recognized for its focus on flexibility, accessibility, and the adaptation of its platform to diverse market environments.
The project is focused on unifying and migrating data between two internal systems across all countries and business verticals. The goal is to establish consistent, comparable, and high-quality records for users, drivers, vehicles, and related business entities, resolving structural discrepancies and reducing manual reconciliation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing data structures.
- Mapping data models, identifying relationships between entities, and creating mapping tables.
- Detecting inconsistencies, discrepancies, errors, missing values, and duplicate records.
- Preparing Gap Reports by documenting mismatches, root causes, recommendations, and proposals for improving data structures and migration quality.
- Participating in the development and alignment of mapping methodologies, standards, and templates for other countries.
- Helping define a unified, scalable data format applicable across multiple business verticals.
- Assessing data quality and supporting validation processes to ensure accurate migration.
- Improving methodology to reduce migration errors in the context of a large-scale data migration program.
Requirements
- Experience as a Data Analyst for 3+ years.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Experience in data analysis and data transformation.
- Understanding of system logic and relationships between entities.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
- Ability to make assumptions and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with data mapping.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- Solid understanding of probability theory, mathematical statistics, and cohort analysis for interpreting patterns and validating hypotheses using data.
- Degree in mathematics, mathematical linguistics, or linguistics with developed skills in working with structures, comparison, and attention to detail.
- Understanding of system analysis in terms of data migration.
