Solution Architect (Abu Dhabi, UAE)

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites a Solution Architect to lead the design of a scalable HR mobile application, supporting a government organization’s digital transformation and improving internal processes, accessibility, and operational efficiency.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project is focused on developing an HR mobile application as part of a broader digital transformation initiative, aimed at modernizing internal processes, improving service accessibility, and enhancing operational efficiency through scalable digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing solution architecture across data ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and mobile consumption layers.
• Integrating Oracle SOA–based systems with external platforms, including AI services, mobile applications, and API layers.
• Leading architectural decisions across bronze–silver–gold data modeling and ensuring alignment with data warehouse best practices.
• Guiding the integration of AI/ML components (e.g., LLMs via Alteryx) into the enterprise architecture.
• Ensuring secure and governed data flows, including RBAC, row-level security, and metadata management.
• Supporting mobile development teams with API definitions, backend integration patterns, and secure data access models.
• Collaborating with data engineering, AI, and application development teams to ensure unified implementation.
• Aligning technical solutions with business goals, scalability requirements, and compliance standards such as governance, lineage, and classification.
• Preparing architectural documentation, including HLDs, integration diagrams, and security models.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Solution Architect for 4+ years.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle technologies, including Oracle ERP, Oracle DB, Oracle SOA - Suite, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Oracle Analytics.
• Experience with data lakehouse concepts (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers).
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Alteryx for orchestration, data quality, and pipeline management.
• Experience with Tableau or other BI tools for business dashboard design and integration.
• Understanding of mobile app architecture, especially in scenarios requiring backend integration and AI support.
• Familiarity with LLM integration (e.g., via API or pipeline) into mobile applications.
• Experience working with AI orchestration pipelines (Alteryx or similar tools).
• Understanding of data preparation for AI/ML models, including feature engineering and metadata tagging.
• Experience with metadata management, data lineage, classification, and data security frameworks.
• Understanding of RBAC, row-level security, and audit/compliance practices in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to create and present solution designs, integration plans, and trade-off decisions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, including API-first and service-oriented architecture.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in hybrid architecture (on-prem + cloud).
• Knowledge/experience in the government sector of the UAE.
