Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (React) in Kazakhstan. The role supports building a microservices-based banking platform with features like authentication, biometrics, payments, and secure integrations.
The customer is one of the oldest and most reliable financial institutions in Kazakhstan, operating in the banking sector for over 30 years. It offers a full range of financial services for both individual and corporate clients, including business lending, mortgages, consumer loans, deposits, payment services, and digital banking solutions. The company focuses on reliability, innovation, and sustainable growth, helping clients achieve their financial goals and contributing to the country’s economic development.
The project is focused on designing a microservices-based banking platform for mobile apps and a web admin panel. It includes authentication, biometrics, card tokenization, payments, and integrations with external systems, ensuring secure and scalable interaction through API Gateway, microservices, and Data Lake.
Responsibilities
- Developing an admin panel using TypeScript 5+ and React 18+, creating reusable UI components and pages.
- Microfrontends with Module Federation: designing, integrating, and isolating modules, managing versions and contracts between modules.
- Backend integration: implementing interaction via OpenAPI, handling asynchronous streams, errors, and retry logic.
- State management and side-effects: proper state architecture, handling queues and background tasks.
- Protection against XSS/CSRF, secure token storage, interaction with backend secrets.
- Testing: unit tests; maintaining high coverage for critical scenarios.
- Preparing Docker images, integrating with GitLab Pipelines, and ensuring quality gates.
- Code quality and mentorship: ESLint/Prettier, code reviews, mentoring juniors.
Requirements
- Experience with React for 5+ years.
- Practical experience with TypeScript 5+.
- Experience developing products in the banking/fintech domain.
- Experience with modular SPAs, Smart Front/Shell, Webpack Module Federation, designing and integrating independent modules.
- Confident working with asynchronous operations, task queues, cancellation, and retries (fetch/Axios, AbortController).
- Experience integrating with REST APIs/OpenAPI, WebSockets.
- Experience writing unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library.
- Experience with containerizing frontend applications (Docker).
- Adherence to code style, working with linters and static analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
- Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Experience working on projects from scratch.
- Experience with Redux Toolkit, React Query, Zustand, or similar; experience in choosing state-management solutions.
- Basic understanding of bounded contexts and domain models for API alignment with the backend.
- Experience with SSR, performance tuning, accessibility, and integration with Grafana/Prometheus.
