Backend Developer (Node.js)

Andersen seeks a Backend Developer (Node.js) to build reliable features for a high-load live streaming and ticketing platform, working on scalable services in a modern hybrid cloud environment.

The customer is a large international organization delivering live events and premium digital content to a global audience. It operates its own multi-platform streaming service, manages high-load ticketing and access control systems, and supports complex on-site operations with strict reliability and security requirements. The company is actively modernizing its hybrid cloud infrastructure and data platforms to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.

The project is focused on contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality software features through close collaboration within the team, ensuring reliable, maintainable, and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implementing features under guidance and contributing to design discussions.
• Working closely with peers and cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
• Building technical skills and adopting the best practices.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards.
• Participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in backend development for 2+ years.
• Solid foundation in modern programming languages and frameworks (TypeScript, React and Node.js).
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and deliver assigned tasks.
• Solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend development patterns.
• Basic to intermediate experience with CI/CD.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket/Git.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and domains.
• Willingness to attend meetings in London when required.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
