Technical Program Manager

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead the development of a scalable insurance platform, coordinating teams and delivery to support policy issuance, management, and core insurance processes.

The customer is an international insurance company operating across multiple countries, known for expertise in niche markets and commitment to high-quality service. The project is focused on developing and enhancing an insurance platform that enables the customer to issue and manage insurance policies, supporting core insurance processes, and ensuring a reliable, scalable digital solution.

Responsibilities

• Leading and governing large-scale digital programmes across multiple workstreams (product, technology, operations, vendors).
• Owning programme planning, milestones, dependencies, budget, risks and delivery governance.
• Coordinating multiple delivery teams (product, engineering, architecture, UX, QA, vendors)
• Driving delivery of digital insurance brokerage and servicing platforms (customer and broker portals).
• Managing senior stakeholders across business, IT, architecture and operations.
• Ensuring alignment between business objectives, customer experience strategy and technical delivery.
• Overseeing transformation initiatives across the insurance lifecycle (quote, bind, policy servicing, renewals, claims).
• Establishing programme-level KPIs, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Supporting vendor and third-party platform integrations (policy admin systems, underwriting, claims).

Requirements

• Experience in Programme or Senior Project Management roles for 5+ years.
• Proven experience delivering digital customer experience platforms within insurance brokerage or insurance servicing.
• Strong knowledge of P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance products and processes.
• Experience managing complex, multi-vendor and multi-team programmes.
• Solid understanding of Agile/hybrid delivery models at scale.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication.
• Experience with insurance core systems and digital platforms.
• Excellent risk management, planning and governance skills.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience working with insurance policy administration systems (e.g. OneShield or similar).
• Background in insurance technology transformation programmes.
• Experience in regulated environments and financial services.
