Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (.NET) to build integrations between an insurance platform and external partners, enabling secure data exchange and seamless claims processing.
The customer is a large international organization operating in the insurance and risk protection domain, providing a wide range of services for both individual and corporate clients. The customer has a strong global presence, delivers diversified insurance solutions across multiple lines of business, and is known for its mature operational model, financial stability, and well-established expertise in service delivery and claims management.
The project is focused on integrating an insurance platform with partners across the Asian market, enabling seamless data exchange, claims processing, and consistent customer journeys across multiple external systems.
Responsibilities
- Participating in architectural discussions and contributing to architectural decision-making.
- Designing and implementing APIs and backend services.
- Collaborating with Business Analysts and Developers to implement user stories.
- Making technical decisions with consideration for current and future system requirements.
- Developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services.
- Ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Performing root cause analysis and resolving complex defects.
- Maintaining and supporting existing software services.
- Reviewing pull requests and conducting thorough code reviews.
- Mentoring team members and promoting the best practices development.
- Upholding engineering excellence and high coding standards.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the team.
- Advocating initiatives to improve system quality, security, and performance.
- Acting as an end-to-end owner across the software lifecycle, including design, development, and delivery.
Requirements
- Experience building large-scale applications in complex technical environments for 2+ years.
- Strong skills in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience working with highly distributed teams and strong remote collaboration skills.
- Ownership of backend API development with a solid understanding of the full API lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and Swagger.
- Experience building scalable cloud applications.
- Hands-on experience with Azure technologies, including App Services, Table Storage, PaaS solutions, API Management (APIM), and Application Insights.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Confident use of Git and Jira.
- Level of English – Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- Microsoft Azure certifications are considered a plus.
