Summary

Andersen is hiring a QA Engineer to ensure quality across integrated travel platforms, supporting booking, CRM, finance, and partner data with reliable releases and smooth collaboration.

The customer is a global information and analytics provider that delivers critical data, insights, and technology-driven solutions to clients across business, finance, and government sectors. The company serves major industries worldwide to help customers improve operational efficiency and make well-informed decisions by combining extensive market intelligence with advanced analytics and expertise.

The project is centered on the evolution of a suite of interconnected travel platforms that support booking, CRM, finance, and supplier content management. These systems enable advisors and internal teams to manage itineraries, transactions, and partner data efficiently while ensuring seamless integration and real-time collaboration across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Performing functional and regression testing of backend and API-driven systems.
  • Designing, executing, and maintaining API test cases using Postman.
  • Validating request/response structures, status codes, authentication, and error handling.
  • Working with JSON/XML payloads.
  • Creating and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and business logic.
  • Analyzing logs and investigating issues at the database level.
  • Participating in requirement analysis and providing QA input at early stages.
  • Documenting test cases, bug reports, and test results.
  • Collaborating with development teams in Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

  • Experience as a QA Engineer for 3+ years.
  • Strong hands-on experience in API testing.
  • Practical experience using Postman (collections, environments, variables, basic automation).
  • Solid SQL knowledge (complex queries, joins, subqueries, data validation).
  • Understanding REST principles and HTTP methods.
  • Experience testing microservices-based or backend-heavy systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with performance or security testing.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
