OT Cybersecurity Consultant/Manager (Abu Dhabi, UAE)

Summary

Andersen is hiring an OT Cybersecurity Consultant/Manager in Abu Dhabi to strengthen OT security frameworks, governance, and resilience in industrial environments, ensuring compliance and protection of mission-critical systems.

The customer is an established engineering and technology-focused organization operating in the industrial and energy sectors. The company delivers integrated solutions combining equipment supply, technical services, and digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on automation, data integration, analytics, and industrial cybersecurity in mission-critical environments.

The project is focused on strengthening and standardizing OT cybersecurity across the organization by developing and updating frameworks, methodologies, standards, policies, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Developing and updating OT Cybersecurity frameworks/methodologies/standards/policies and processes.
• Conducting onsite and offsite OT cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Managing OT risk assessment team activities.
• Conducting OT cybersecurity workshops and technical tests.
• Architecture inventory collection, setting up repository and design development of missing environments, architecture diagrams in both low level and high-level versions.
• Updating maturity dashboard and risk register.
• Reviewing risk reports, monitoring mitigation plans and communicating the status to internal stakeholders.
• Developing management presentations on initiatives and risk management activities.
• Coordinating team mobilization to sites and logistics management.
• Documenting, reviewing, updating OT cyber security documentation and circulating for endorsement and follow up till completion.
• Updating Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solution records.
• Creating management action plans for audit findings and following up with risk owners and action owners to ensure closure.
• Coordinating with stakeholders and management for risk management review, incorporating comments, routing and follow up on report endorsement and creation of memos.
• Identifying and prioritizing opportunities for improvement.
• Developing demand management presentations, developing communication plans and conducting management risk communication workshops.

Requirements

• Experience in OT cybersecurity for 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of OT/ICS cybersecurity environments (SCADA, PLC, DCS, industrial networks).
• Proven experience conducting OT cybersecurity risk assessments (onsite & remote).
• Experience developing cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST CSF).
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability and configuration assessments in OT environments.
• Ability to manage and maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Experience with GRC processes and updating compliance records.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, including reporting to management.
• Ability to prepare formal documentation and risk reports.
• Experience tracking audit findings and driving remediation to closure.
• Understanding of OT architecture and ability to interpret/draft architecture diagrams.
• Experience developing cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and standards based on IEC 62443 and NIST CSF diagrams.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+.

• Professional certifications (CISSP, GICSP, CISM, ISO 27001, etc.).
