Andersen is hiring a Product Owner in Lithuania to lead the development of greenfield payment solutions in a regulated financial services environment, ensuring scalability, compliance, and cross-team collaboration.
The customer is an organization operating in the technology and consulting domain, supporting businesses with the implementation of digital initiatives and process improvements. The company delivers a range of services related to software solutions, system enhancements, and advisory support, helping clients adapt to evolving technological landscapes through flexible engagement approaches and scalable delivery models.
The project is focused on developing greenfield payment solutions within a regulated financial services environment. It involves designing and delivering modern, scalable, and compliant payment systems, with close collaboration across engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Owning product vision, roadmap, and backlog for payment platforms.
- Leading greenfield payment projects end-to-end.
- Translating business and regulatory requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications.
- Working with payment schemes and rails, including SEPA, instant payments, and international transfer standards.
- Driving Open Banking initiatives across EU and UK regulatory frameworks.
- Supporting alternative payment methods and scheme participation.
- Performing functional and gap analysis, model payment flows, and defining message structures.
- Defining test scenarios and supporting functional, security, and compliance testing.
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing delivery with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst for 3+ years in payments or financial services.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of payment systems and payment flows.
- Solid understanding of ISO 20022 and XML-based messaging.
- Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, webhooks).
- Knowledge of PSD2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, AML principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Practical experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Experience with instant or real-time payments.
- Exposure to clearing systems or central banking environments.
